Description

This session will review the latest evidence in Long Covid including identification, diagnostic approach, and management strategies for common symptoms. You will be introduced to the Canadian Guidelines for Post Covid Condition, clinical tools, and patient resources to support your practice. Learn practical strategies to address the complexities of this emerging condition.

-       Identify evidence-based strategies for diagnostic workup and management of common Long Covid symptoms
-       Review clinical tools and patient resources for Long Covid
-       Discuss challenges and opportunities with providing Long Covid care

SPEAKER:

Michelle Lanteigne is a Primary Health Care Nurse Practitioner working at the Owen Sound Family Health Team. During the Covid-19 pandemic she developed an interest in supporting patients with Covid-19 infections and Long Covid, which evolved into developing and leading Covid programs at the Owen Sound Family Health Team.

Michelle is committed to increasing access to Long Covid care and has contributed to research, guideline development, and clinical education.
