SPEAKERS: 

Lauren Scott is a Primary Care Nurse Practitioner at Women’s College Family Practice HealthCentre. She is a graduate of the University of Toronto Master of Nursing and Primary CareNurse Practitioner Global Health program.

She is an adjunct lecturer with the Lawrence S. Bloomberg Faculty of Nursing at the University of Toronto and a lecturer with The Department of Family and Community Medicine at the University of Toronto Faculty of Medicine. Her primary care practice focuses on contraception and women’s health. She teaches medical learners contraception counselling and women’s procedures including IUD and Nexplanon insertions. She is a national speaker on contraception. She is the winner of the Karen Green Courage Award for her work with pain management with gynecological procedures and the University of Toronto Family and Community Medicine Award for excellence in course development for her pelvic procedures clinic.
