SPEAKER:
Jennifer Cooke is a dedicated Child and Youth Care practitioner with more than 25 years of experience supporting young people through non-profit and charitable organizations across the Greater Toronto Area. Her career has spanned roles in day treatment programs, school-based supports, youth justice, and mental health and addictions services, with a strong focus on developing community-based mental health and addiction initiatives. She currently serves as the Provincial Program Coordinator for the Canadian Mental Health Association, Ontario Division, where she manages Mood Walks a provincial program that promote mental wellness through nature-based activities and practical life skills.
In addition to her professional work, for the past 2 years Jennifer has served as Secretary-
Treasurer on the Board of Resources for Children and Youth in Durham Region and has been an active member of the School Community Council in Pickering for more than 12 years. Outside of work, Jennifer enjoys spending time with her family, staying active through sports, and exploring the outdoors through hiking and camping.
