This 8-week online course explores the nurse practitioner's role in mental health and addiction care. Topics include substance-related and addictive disorders, such as stimulants, benzodiazepines, opioids, alcohol, cannabis, feeding and eating disorders, and sleep/wake disorders, across the lifespan. Using an interactive and case-based approach, the course emphasizes critical thinking and clinical reasoning.
