This session will provide an overview of Ontario Health’s new Menopause quality standard, which outlines key opportunities to improve care for people experiencing perimenopause and menopause. Following the presentation, attendees will be able to:
1. Describe what Ontario Health Quality Standards are, how they are developed, and how they are used.
2. Identify improvement opportunities in their own practice to improve care for people experiencing perimenopause and menopause.
3. Access useful tools and resources for use in clinical practice and to share with people experiencing perimenopause and menopause.

Tanveer Singh is a lead in the Clinical and Quality Standards program at Ontario Health. She led the development of the Menopause quality standard. Tanveer holds a Master of Public Health from the University of Toronto and has over 15 years of experience in the health care sector.
