Sachin is a dedicated pharmacist and certified diabetes educator (CDE) specializing in the comprehensive care of diabetes patients. With a strong educational background, including a Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D) and an Honours Bachelor of Science (H.B.Sc) from the University of Waterloo, Sachin brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to his practice.
His experience spans various healthcare settings, including community pharmacies, long-term care facilities, and specialty endocrinology clinics. In his current role as a Clinical Pharmacist, he provides personalized diabetes management services, including medication reviews, lifestyle counselling, and blood glucose monitoring. He collaborates closely with family doctors and specialists to ensure that patients receive tailored, evidence-based care.
As an Academic Detailer at the Centre for Effective Practice, Sachin engages healthcare professionals in discussions on best practices for managing diabetes. He has developed and disseminated educational materials that help improve patient outcomes.
