This 6-week online course enhances your knowledge of end-of-life care for patients with progressive diseases.
You'll learn about symptom assessment and management, transitions, active dying, and post-death care through case-based learning.
By the end, you'll understand the Nurse Practitioner's role in end-of-life care, use clinical guidelines, recognize signs of approaching end of life, and manage symptoms and emergencies.
The course also covers palliative sedation, COVID-19 symptom management, the state of MAiD in Canada, and post-death roles, including identifying healthy and complicated grief. |
