This Topic 5 session provides a comprehensive guide on planning for Medical Assistance in Dying (MAiD) provision, covering both practical and emotional aspects. The session addresses the use of a waiver of final consent, strategies for anticipating and managing adverse events, and insights into managing the post-provision period. Additionally, participants will reflect on the profound impact of providing MAiD and explore resilience practices for sustaining a meaningful and ethical MAiD practice.
